This is fun unleashed and its open year-round! At the Coronado Dog Beach the entire family enjoys the sun’s rays and gets a little vitamin SEA. While the view isn’t too shabby either (positively gorgeous!) it’s vital that you keep a watchful eye on your pup and clean up any messes throughout the day. Tartine European Style Café
Just along First Street in Coronado, there sits a quaint European style café where your beloved companion can lounge beside you – it’s Tartine. After opening in August 2001, the location became “a focal point for excellent cuisine in a casual and inviting atmosphere.” But best of all? They don’t just say they’re pet-friendly, they act on it; word on the street is they offer delicious homemade dog treats!
McP’s Irish Pub
When you’re thirsting for a cocktail, look no further than McP’s, especially if you’re visiting Coronado during the last Wednesday of the month. Why you ask? Because from 5 – 6:30 PM the pub celebrates a special, pet-friendly Yappy Hour benefitting PAWS of Coronado, a local animal rescue.
Wag’N Tails
Chances are, if you’re enjoying the beach, a bite, and an afternoon filled with activity, your pup might be in need of a hug from some soapsuds! Luckily, Wag’N Tails offers two self-serve dog washtubs as well as high quality food and treats for both cats and dogs. It’s the perfect way for families to unwind before a long and restful evening back at Crown City Inn!
