At Crown City Inn, we’re determined to see that our beloved state recovers. Here’s how you can lend a hand to our California fire victims.

Believe it or not, just booking a stay at our very own Crown City Inn can be considered doing your part. How so? Because we’re donating 3% of all sales to the Red Cross and/or California Fire Foundation from now until December 25th. Vacationing never felt so good!
Donations
Offering money in times of need is both efficient and productive. While donating goods is similarly helpful, it requires volunteers to organize and sort through the quantity. A dollar amount affords organizations with the ability to purchase exactly what is needed and allocate funds as necessary.
That’s not to say, however, that specific goods are unwanted. Many shelters are in desperate need of reinforcements. The best way to pinpoint optimal efforts is by doing your research. Look into nonprofit, charity, and law enforcement websites in order to make an informed decision.
Crowdfunding

Volunteer
If you’re in a position to offer your services, please do. It’s also worth noting that it’s not just people who need help, it’s animals as well. You can assist through the Humane Society of Ventura County or apply to contribute through the Red Cross.
Open your Home
While this isn’t an easy ask, this type of generosity does not go unnoticed to California fire victims. So many refugees are seeking shelter and opening your home to those in need ensures everyone is taken care of. It’s a wonderful way to give back to a community near and dear to our hearts.
