What is this tour?
The Coronado Haunted Happenings Tour is a 45-minute expedition where you can learn about some of Coronado’s most famous ghost stories.
The tour schedule is as follows:
- October: Nightly at 7:00 pm; additional tours at 9:00 pm Fridays & Saturdays
- November: Nightly tours at 7:00 pm
This tour is for ages 12+ due to some spooky elements.
The story behind the tour
During this tour, you’ll learn the story of Kate Morgan–why she was in town, and why she never left. Walk in her footsteps as you dive into the mystery of her death and learn about other spooky spirits haunting the hotel. You’ll also hear about some other local ghost stories and spirits who haunt the area.
As the story goes, Kate checked into the hotel in 1892 and was planning on meeting somebody while she was there. But days later, after no one showed, she took her own life. Now, you might encounter Kate as her spirit wanders the hallways of the hotel, moving items, causing electrical malfunctions, or making mysterious noises.
