Halloween has come and gone, and now the focus is on the holiday season. If you’re looking to escape the cold weather and enjoy Coronado’s endless sunshine, or if you’re simply enjoying a restful vacation, celebrate Thanksgiving in Coronado! Coronado Thanksgiving 2019 is going to be a festive one, and the are plenty of nearby events to keep you busy–and full!

Skating by the Sea

While Coronado’s weather stays beautiful year round, that doesn’t mean you can’t participate in the classic winter activity of ice-skating! At the Hotel Del Coronado, the beachfront ice rink lets you enjoy the ice-skating and beautiful views of the ocean. Come out and skate this fall and support Make-A-Wish San Diego.

Turkey Trot

Celebrate Coronado Thanksgiving 2019 by getting out and about before you feast! This year, start your dat off with the Coronado Turkey Trot! This fun event starts at 8:00 am and has 5K events for adults and children. All proceeds benefit Rady Children’s Hospital, which focuses on child abuse pediatrics and trauma treatment.

Thanksgiving Dinner at The Del

After you’ve spent your day running (or walking!) and ice-skating, it’s time to settle in and dine. Enjoy a Thanksgiving feast at the Hotel Del Coronado on Thursday, November 28. Enjoy your meal either in the oceanfront Ballroom where you can overlook Skating by the Sea and the beach, or in the Crown Room with its famous chandeliers. Either way, you’ll be treated to a delicious Thanksgiving meal!

Thanksgiving Day Dining Cruise

For a Thanksgiving experience that’s unlike any other, the Thanksgiving Day Dining Cruise delivers! Cruise the San Diego Bay during this two-hour Thanksgiving Day cruise and enjoy the delicious food and beautiful waterfront views.
